Ten Must-See Concerts in the Northeast for November 2019

From rock and R&B to even country and techno, there are countless concerts from musicians across many genres playing the Northeast this November. Be sure to catch these critically acclaimed performers while they’re on the fall leg of their tours—some of who are making a return visit to the region this year due to popular demand. Watch some of these artists perform their recently released albums while others will bring their classic hit tracks to their shows. 

Here are ten must-see concerts going on in the Northeast area this November: 

Dance to Adam Beyer

Techno legend Adam Beyer will bring Drumcode to Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on November 8, which is the first time the event has returned to New York City since 2015. The underground dark-beats show will also host supporting acts Enrico Sangiuliano, Juliet Fox and Layton Giordani. The Swedish label was founded in 1996 and has been associated with techno since then. 


Rock Out To Alice Cooper

The Godfather of Shock Rock will make stops in Atlantic City, Glens Falls, New York, and Brookville, New York, this November as part of his Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back Tour (which he is co-headlining with Halestorm). The hard rock pioneer is of course known for fusing horror movies, garage rock and psycho-drama in his music and outrageous performances. Some of Alice’s hit tracks include “Poison,” “School’s Out” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy.” 


See Ariana Grande’s Next Act

Pop superstar Ariana Grande, who is frequently seen flaunting her iconic thigh-high boots and high ponytail look, will bring her Sweetener World Tour to Brooklyn’s Barclay Center and to Nassau Memorial Veteran’s Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, this fall. The tour is to promote her Sweetener and Thank U, Next albums, and these shows are part of 19 stops that the “7 Rings” singer added as a second leg of her North American tour. 


Watch Hozier Perform

Irish musician Hozier is returning to America, making multiple stops along the Northeast in Verona, New York, Rochester, New York, Boston, Mashantucket (Connecticut), and New York City this November. The “Take Me to Church” singer will close his U.S. tour after a five-night stint at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, and the tour is to promote his second album, Wasteland, Baby!, released earlier this year.

Perennial heartthrob boy band the Jonas Brothers are bringing their Happiness Begins Tour to Newark, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlantic City and Baltimore this November. The reunion tour marks the first tour by the trio since 2013, and it comes to promote their latest album, Happiness Begins, which has already gone platinum. Hit songs by the group include “Sucker,” “Lovebug” and “Burnin’ Up.” 


Catch Louis the Child

Electronic dance music duo Louis the Child will perform twice in Philadelphia this November with both shows taking place at The Fillmore. The Chicago-bred duo, Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, had their breakthrough hit in 2015 with “It’s Strange.” Since then, the duo has performed at acclaimed festivals around the world, so be sure to catch them while they’re in town. 


Don’t Miss Patti LaBelle

Living legend Patti LaBelle will perform in Brookville, New York, on November 9 at the Tilles Center Concert Hall. The Godmother of Soul, kicked off her fall tour on October 3. In 2017, she released two albums: Home for the Holidays and Bel Hommage. She also had a street renamed “Patti LaBelle Way” in her honor earlier this year in Philadelphia.

Rock group Taking Back Sunday is bringing its 20th anniversary tour to Clifton Park, New York, Hartford, Boston, Silver Spring, Maryland, Philadelphia and New York City in November. This year-long world tour includes the release of their career-spanning compilation, Twenty, which also features new songs. In addition, Taking Back Sunday will also perform their debut album, Tell All Your Friends


Watch Third Eye Blind Take the Stage

Rock group Third Eye Blind will make stops in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, and Bensalem, Pennsylvania, in November as part of their Screamer Tour, to promote their Screamer album, which debuted on October 18–their first release in four years. Notable tracks from Third Eye Blind include their platinum rock hits “Semi-Charmed Life” and “How’s It Going to Be.”


See Toby Keith Perform 

Country music star Toby Keith will take the stage in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, at the Xcite Center on November 1 and November 2 for his That’s Country Bro! Tour. The musician recently released Toby Keith Greatest Hits: The Show Dog Years, which featured four new songs along with his previously released hits. The acclaimed singer is known for tracks such as “Red Solo Cup,” “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” and “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”
