Viva Friday Playlist: Listen to Los Tigres del Norte, iLe, Diego Torres & More

Viva Friday is a compilation of the best new songs, albums and videos recommended by Billboard Latin editors.

iLe – “Temas”

iLe’s unflinching statement about gender violence is set to the deceptively romantic tune of a bolero. “Temes’ has nothing to do with romance,” iLe says of her unsettling and empowering new song, which she describes as exposing “one of patriarchy’s darkest blind spots: ‘machismo’ is more than an expression of power, it is a weak and horrifying reaction of fear.” The video was directed by Ile’s sister, Milena Pérez Joglar. — JUDY CANTOR-NAVAS
