The marriage of pulsating, leathery techno beats and cosmic space rock lunacy, Bristol outfit Scalping today premiere the video for ‘Satan II’ through The Quietus.
The b-side to debut single ‘Chamber’, it sees the quartet’s dance, punk and drone influences collide atop a video by Jason Baker, in turn a series of surreal vignettes and neon fantasies. ‘Satan II’ is perhaps the prime example of Scalping’s ability to seamlessly entwine furious guitar mania with frenzied dance music, making them one of few bands to fuse the genres without losing the best bits of either.
Scalping have already caught the imagination of many, playing hypnotic and ferociously audiovisual shows with the likes of Ho9909, Holy Fuck and Marie Davidson.
